Last night, I was at my brother's house and we watched some basketball. There were plenty of snacks, but I stuck to nuts (mostly Brazil nuts and cashews), and had a couple of chicken wings, as well as some salmon that they'd baked with lemon and garlic, which was really good!
I didn't workout yesterday, but I'm not really too concerned with that right now. I'm doing a few hundred squats today, and I'll probably do 100 pike presses for my shoulders by the end of the night. Just sort of here and there type stuff to keep my body from eroding. Lol.
Today, I bought some almond flour and made some pancakes! They're very nutty in flavor, as you'd imagine - there's no "real" flour, for instance. It's just almond flour, baking powder, coconut/almond milk, vanilla extract, eggs, and oil. It called for canola oil, but I used whatever my mom had. It wasn't labeled, so I have no clue. Haha.
I put pure maple syrup on it, and it was really good. Different, but in a surprisingly good way! I'm pretty psyched. Not that I eat a lot of pancakes, but knowing I can make them and keep up the nutrition plan makes me feel upbeat about it. :) Here is a picture of the pancake.
